Ampeg
It was back in 1969 – with bass players being drowned out by Marshalls, HiWatts and Dual Showman Fenders – when Ampeg set about creating what designer Roger Cox described as “the biggest, nastiest bass amplfied the world had ever seen”. That amplifier was the Super Vacuum Tube, or SVT – a 14-valve, 40 kilo monster pushing out 300 watts of pure bone rattling bass.
Since then, Ampeg has been a byword for professional bass tone and quality. At Modern Musician we’re thrilled to offer you the best in bass amplifier technology, backed as always with our legendary customer service and competitive pricing.
