The HDJ-F9 headphones feature SonicLink, AlphaTheta’s own wireless technology. SonicLink delivers the high-quality sound, powerful volume, and ultra-low latency that DJs need – all wirelessly. Without cables, you can monitor your mixing, and even scratch, accurately. Latency is as low as 9 msec, so you can stay fully focused on your performance without noticing any delay.

And with the newly added SonicLink touch pairing function, you can instantly connect to compatible DJ gear, such as the DJM-V5, simply by touching the headphones to the mixer or other supported unit. By using the separately sold SonicLink Transmitter HP-TX01, you can connect your headphones to a wide range of devices.

SonicLink connectivity
Simply touch your headphones to a compatible DJ device (e.g., the DJM-V5) for instant SonicLink connection. For mixers/devices without SonicLink, use the HP-TX01 transmitter (available separately) to connect smoothly.

Flexible design for all DJ styles
With a swivel mechanism and flexible headband, the headphones are comfortable to wear whether you’re listening with 1 or 2 ears, or resting them on your shoulders.

Durable construction
The extendable slider is built from rugged die-cast aluminum for long-lasting durability. Tested against strict international standards, it delivers the reliability professional DJs demand.

Lockable cable design
The connection between the headphones and cable uses a secure bayonet locking mechanism to help prevent accidental disconnection.

Newly developed 40 mm driver
Hear rich, well-defined bass that reaches down to the sub-bass range.
A PEEK-PU-PEEK composite diaphragm, combining 2 different materials, suppresses unwanted vibration for distortion-free, well-balanced mid-to-high frequencies.

Outstanding sound insulation
An optimized internal structure reduces external noise, achieving outstanding sound insulation for an on-ear headphone. You can monitor your music comfortably without needing to push the volume too high, reducing strain on your ears.

Bass-reflex chamber
The bass-reflex chamber (air chamber) at the top of the housing improves low-frequency response, reproducing the crisp, punchy kick sound that’s ideal for monitoring.
