Classic Analog Sequencer with 24 Steps and Full CV Control in Eurorack Format

In the world of analog synthesis, few pieces of gear evoke as much nostalgia and creativity as the SQ-10. With its powerful 12-step sequencer, it quickly became a staple for electronic musicians, but like a lot of synths at that time, it was big and bulky. Our goal has always been to make gear, even rare ones, more accessible, which is why we’re introducing the Behringer BQ-10, a fresh take on a vintage design that pays tribute to a classic and introduces new updated features.

FEATURES

  • Flexible analog sequencer based on SQ-10 sequencer from the ’70s

  • Single 16-step or double 8-step sequences

  • Separate 8-step channel for controlling filter or amplitude on a connected synthesizer via CV

  • Dedicated trigger outputs per step for shortening the sequences by connecting a step to the Reset input

  • 8 separate play modes for channel A and B, including Alternating, Parallel, Series, Random and more

  • Each channel with its own Portamento control, for smoothing out the transition between steps

  • Duty cycle control for adjusting the overall gate length

  • Trigger input for syncing with external clocks

  • CV input for the internal clock, for creative rhythmic effects

  • 2 input sum for convenient patching

  • Complete Eurorack solution – main module can be transferred to a standard Eurorack case

  • 45 controls give you direct and real-time access to all important parameters

  • Comprehensive MIDI implementation with MIDI channel and MIDI transport controls

Take a Step and Another...
The BQ-10 is packed with features that make it both versatile and powerful. It can function as a single 16-step sequencer or split into dual 8-step sequences (Channels A and B) for added flexibility. Channel C is a separate 8-step channel where you can connect an external synth like the Behringer K-2 MKII via CV for controlling filter or amplitude. Each step features a voltage output knob as well as a dedicated trigger output allowing you to shorten sequences by connecting specific steps to the Reset input.

Expand Your Horizons!
The rotary Sequence Mode knob lets you select between 8 play modes for channels A and B while channel C can run continuously depending on the mode. By default, a sequence runs on the internal clock of the BQ-10 which can be adjusted with the Clock Generator knob that can go from 20 bpm to 500 bpm. CV inputs are also available for plugging in external voltage sources to override the internal clock. Each channel features its own portamento control for when you want each step to glide into one another or have a more staccato feel.

Eurorack Ready
Designed to handle the rigors of life on the road or in the studio, BQ-10 can easily be transferred to any standard Eurorack case for the perfect integration into your setup.

An Amazing Value
Whether you’re a modular synth veteran or a newcomer to analog sequencing, BQ-10 promises to inspire creativity and bring the timeless charm of vintage sequencing into your music—all at a price point that welcomes everyone.
