Behringer Flow 4VIO

The FLOW 4VIO expander brings added muscle to the FLOW 4V by acting as an external stagebox with four additional dual‑stage microphone preamps and two dedicated headphone amps. It’s built with the same true 32‑bit architecture as the main unit, so when you double your available inputs, you also double them without compromising the sound. The extra preamps deliver the same huge dynamic range of up to 142 dB, giving productions more room to grow while keeping audio effortlessly clean and unclipped.

For monitoring, FLOW 4VIO broadens what’s possible on set. With two more headphone amplifiers on board, the system offers three fully independent headphone feeds, each capable of driving high‑impedance studio cans or handling sensitive in‑ear monitors without distortion. It removes the need for splitters or workarounds and makes it easier for multiple team members to monitor exactly what they need during filming.

All of this connects through a single StageConnect cable, which carries audio, clock, control data, and even power. The expander can live right beside the camera or sit up to 40 meters away using standard DMX cabling, keeping setups clean and flexible. StageConnect’s sub‑millisecond latency and uncompressed signal path mean the additional I/O behaves like a natural extension of the FLOW 4V, and the system can even integrate with other StageConnect‑enabled devices, including mixers like WING.

By pairing FLOW 4V with FLOW 4VIO, you expand to eight inputs without adding complexity or changing how you work. The result is a compact, scalable setup that fits naturally into modern video workflows, offering more room for microphones, better monitoring options, and seamless on‑set performance.
