Big Valve Tone at Any Volume
Valve amps sound best when they’re working hard. The problem is that cranking a 100W head isn’t always an option. The DA5 Ruby solves this the Blackstar way: a unique push-pull valve power stage that delivers the feel, dynamics and natural compression of a hot valve amp at volumes your neighbours can live with.

Power reduction takes it down to 10% of the rated output without touching your tone. The working voltages of the power stage are controlled directly, so the tonal character stays intact at every level.

CabRig™ Speaker Simulation
CabRig™ is our most advanced IR-based speaker simulation technology. Hundreds of cabinet, mic and room combinations. Three user presets accessible directly from the amp. Zero latency. Premium valve tone into headphones, monitors and your mix.
