EMG SAX/SAX/81X Pickups

The EMG SAX/SAX/81X is a modified designed of the original SA/SA/81 with the added benefit of the X series preamp.

The X series preamp gives the pickup a more dynamic range along with increased headroom while keeping the more traditional qualities you expect from an active EMG Pickup.

The X series pickups also come with an Active Tone Control (VLPF) designed to roll-off (attenuate) high frequencies, similar to a typical passive tone control. The result is a noiseless guitar pickup with a classic EMG sound and bar magnets for a smooth and sustained output.
