Fender Redondo Player Natural

Acoustic Guitar

Inspired by the iconic designs of Fender electric guitars, California Player acoustics evoke the west coast spirit of adventure and freedom, inviting musicians to explore their individual creativity and disrupt the status quo.

Crafted with an X-braced solid spruce top and sapele back and sides, the dreadnought body of the Redondo Player produces a deep, robust voice with exceptional projection and volume for a wide variety of musical settings. The nato neck is designed with an easy-to-play slim "C"-shaped profile, a 25.5" scale length, and a tilt-back 6-in-line headstock for a distinctive look born from Fender's electric guitar DNA. Other notable details include vintage-style tuning machines for smooth, accurate tuning, a GraphTech® NuBone® nut and saddle for detailed harmonic character. With elegantly integrated controls for a sleek, modern look, the onboard Fishman® Flex preamp system allows faithful reproduction of the guitar's natural sound when plugged into an amplifier or recording device.

Bold, eye-catching and unique, California Series instruments make no compromises, balancing effortless playability, superior sound, and standout style for those who aspire to play something different.

UNIQUE FENDER BODY SHAPE
A refined and modernized evolution of the historical 1980s model, the Redondo is a proprietary Fender design whose dreadnought shape and warm, robust voice is well-suited for many musical styles and players.

SOLID SPRUCE TOP
An acoustic guitar’s top is a key contributing component to its production of tone, and a solid top provides optimal resonance, volume and dynamic range. Spruce is a popular wood choice for its clear articulation, nuanced character and tonal versatility.

FISHMAN PREAMP SYSTEM
With a sleek, streamlined look and a pure acoustic voice, the onboard Fishman® Flex electronics provide intuitive volume and tone controls for dialing in natural amplified tone and a phase control for combatting feedback.

TILT-BACK 6-IN-LINE HEADSTOCK
A tilt-back headstock design optimizes the break angle of the strings over the nut, creating singing sustain and rich resonance.

SLIM “C“-SHAPED NECK
The slim “C”-shaped neck profile is inspired by Fender electric guitars, offering superior hand comfort thanks to its consistently shallow depth and rounded fingerboard edges.

WALNUT FINGERBOARD AND BRIDGE
With its pleasingly dark look, smooth feel and vibrant tonal character, walnut is a premium hardwood for acoustic guitar bridges and fingerboards.
