Important Warehouse Shipping Information

Our website has the ability to display products that are in stock at our various supplier warehouses around the country, which allows us to provide a much broader product range for our customers. This is one of those products.

Some of our suppliers are able to ship products directly to you, while others need to ship to us before they are shipped to you. It is important to note that for products that are shipping from one of our supplier warehouses, either directly to you or via our Hobart store, we are unable to control how quickly the order will be dispatched, or the shipping method or service that will be used.

If you would like to know more information about shipping times and methods that apply to this product, please feel free to contact us.

Did you know?

We carry out stringent quality control checks and setups on all guitars that go through our Hobart store. If you have any particular setup or tuning requests for your newly ordered guitar, send us an email or give us a call and we'll make it happen before we ship it to you!

Please note, custom setups and in-store quality checks are only available for products shipped from our Hobart location. Additional fees apply for modifications that fall outside the scope of standard manufacturer allowances and our complimentary in-store quality control process.

To create the EXL-7 Baritone Black Metal, we started with our standard EX body shape and made it just a bit larger, providing excellent playing balance, beefy tone, and a literally bigger stage presence. Then we offered it in a 27” baritone scale for the extended range downtuning with superior string tension that’s required in modern metal, and a diabolical Black Red Burst Satin finish. This guitar offers set-thru construction for smooth access to the highest frets, a mahogany body with a thin u-shaped three-piece maple neck, and a Macassar ebony fingerboard with 24 extra-jumbo stainless steel frets. Components on the EXL-7 Baritone Black Metal include black hardware, LTD locking tuners, a TonePros locking TOM-style bridge and tailpiece, and a Seymour Duncan MortalCoil 7 String 3-Voice active bridge pickup with a 3-way toggle to select voices.
