The Meinl Sonic Energy Solid Kalimba is a beautifully crafted melodic instrument that offers unique sound and design. With 17 notes in the C Major scale, it allows you to create captivating melodies. Made from high-quality acacia wood, it produces a rich and resonant tone. The Kalimba comes with a protective case to safeguard it from scratches and damage. A microfiber cloth and linen bag are included to help you clean and store the instrument. Additionally, a tuning hammer is provided for any adjustments you may need. Originating from Africa, the Kalimba is an ancient instrument also known as the "Mbira," "Sansa," or simply "thumb piano." It features metal reeds mounted on a wooden box, which are plucked with the thumbs to produce a bright, metallic sound.
