Here's the deal - Purchase any new guitar and a compatible set of pickups in the same transaction from Modern Musician, in-store or online, and we'll install them for you within two business days, FREE OF CHARGE!* As if that's not enough, we'll even install a free set of matching gauge D'Addario XL strings (or Fender Super 250's for Squier guitars) to replace the ones we removed to install the new pickups.

Due to the custom nature of the Modded By Modern program, there are strictly no returns for change of mind on modified products. Offer applies to pickup sets only, not single pickup upgrades. Works will be completed in two business days or less from the time of purchase. Custom pairings are available, if you have your own preferred pairing, please reach out via email prior to purchase so we can verify compatibility, availability, and suitability. Failure to do so prior to purchase voids the aforementioned ‘two business day’ turnaround promise. Offer applies only to basic 'like-for-like' pickup replacements and does not cover any additional routing or work that may be required if purchased pickups are not confirmed with us prior to purchase. All upgrades include a complimentary set of matching gauge D’Addario XL strings (or Fender Super 250 strings for Squier guitars) installed on the guitar upon completion of the pickup installation. Customer will receive their original pickups and any discarded electronics packed safely in the box with their instrument.
