Arpeggio Lab is a pattern playground, designed to kickstart your creativity. It reimagines the classic arpeggiator by splitting your chord into two roles: Anchor and Movement. Anchor lays down the groove, Movement dances around it — breaking rules and filling space in unexpected ways.

Instead of cycling through predictable note orders, Arpeggio Lab lets you sculpt the shape, density, and behavior of your arpeggios. 'Humanize' mimics the handstrokes of a live musician, and the different Hold knobs make sure you can just hit record and play your heart out. Sort of like jamming with an imaginary bandmate. With a few tweaks, you can go from gentle fingerpicking patterns to intricate glitchy chaos that ends up being the best part of the song. Want to mess it up even further? Add rhythmic modifiers that mute or repeat notes per step, pitch notes across octaves, or randomize it all into something brand new.

Fully integrated into the Reason Rack, it plays nice with instruments, chord generators, and honestly whatever else you want to throw at it. To put it simply – it’s a creative tool for anyone who wants to cure their creative block.
