The 22” Complex Thin Crash is big, thin and dark – with a small hand-hammered raw bell – a combination that brings out the lows and complexities of this cymbal’s tone. Big and over-hammered, the tone can get downright nasty and trashy, almost as though there’s a distortion effect built-in. This special quality lends itself to virtually any style of playing, from straight-ahead sticking to jazz brushes.
