The original Prophet-5
The Prophet-5 is revered by artists for its unique and influential sound that has shaped music for decades. Introduced in 1978 as the world’s first fully programmable polyphonic synthesizer, it revolutionized music production by enabling musicians to instantly save and recall sounds. Today’s Prophet-5 Rev4 remains faithful to the original design, recreating the analog circuitry that produces its rich warm tone, while still adding a few new twists that modern musicians love.

Refining an expanded legend
The Prophet-10 boasts carefully chosen modern enhancements that were not available on the original instruments. Velocity and aftertouch introduce dynamic control, making each performance more expressive and vibrant. And seamless MIDI connectivity ensures the Prophet-10 integrates effortlessly into any contemporary studio setup.

Enhancements

• The Vintage knob recreates the characteristics of various Prophet-5 revisions by varying the behavior of oscillators, envelopes, amplifiers, and other components. Go from a very stable “4” — as in Prophet-5 Rev4, (the new version) — all the way to “1,” as in Prophet-5 Rev1, the rarest and most temperamental of all Prophet-5s.

• Selectable filter and amplitude envelope velocity response adds new dynamics to Prophet-5 sounds
