In 2024, Lars Ulrich & TAMA celebrated the anniversary of their 40-year relationship with the release of an extremely limited signature drum kit. To bring this Lars Ulrich experience to the masses, Lars & Metallica fans
can now get the look of Lars’ 72 Seasons tour kit in TAMA’s affordable & accessible Imperialstar model. Featuring a striking yellow finish and black nickel shell hardware, drummers can enjoy the vibe of Lars’ kit with the trusted reliability & durability of TAMA’s Imperialstar drums.

Imperialstar complete drum kits provide everything a drummer needs at an affordable price. The Imperialstar line offers various choices of kit configurations and finishes, availability of add-on drums, precisely-processed drum shells and reliable, durable hardware. Imperialstar may appeal to beginner drummers due to the price, but more experienced intermediate players enjoy playing great-sounding Imperialstar kits in every music genre from jazz and R&B to rock.

Imperialstar was further refined with matching wood hoops on the bass drum, newly-designed tom brackets and double-braced hardware, thus bringing Imperialstar up to a whole new level.

Double Tom Stand Included: While TAMA's standard Imperialstar drum kits feature bass drums with a tom holder base, this special model mirrors Lars' kit by removing the tom holder base entirely. Additionally, it includes a double tom stand for setting up the rack toms just like Lars.

100% Poplar Shell: TT/BD/SD : 8mm, 6ply - Poplar wood has been used in making drum shell for over 50 years. It offers a full, warm tone combined with medium attack.
