Behringer SC-U StageConnect Interface

The Behringer SC-U is a compact StageConnect interface bridge that links your StageConnect ecosystem with multi-channel USB audio and Behringer Ultranet monitoring. Acting as a three-way hub, it lets you route up to 32 channels of audio between your mixer, computer and personal monitoring system with ultra-low latency and rock-solid sample rate conversion.

Perfect for modern stages, rehearsal rooms and compact studios, the SC-U keeps your setup tidy by running high-channel-count audio over a single standard XLR cable, while simultaneously feeding multitrack audio to and from your DAW via USB. At the same time, it integrates seamlessly with Ultranet systems such as Behringer P16 personal monitor mixers, so performers can enjoy flexible, independent headphone mixes without adding a separate interface or complex patching.

With asynchronous 32-channel sample rate conversion on board, the SC-U lets different parts of your system run at their own word clocks and sample rates without clicks, pops or dropouts. Its rugged, DI box sized enclosure is built to live on the stage or in a rack drawer, and the included external power supply keeps everything running reliably show after show.

StageConnect provides 32 channels of bidirectional audio at 44.1 or 48 kHz and 24 bit resolution, all over a single standard 3-pin XLR DMX or mic cable. With sub-millisecond latency, it is ideal for live sound where timing and phase coherence are critical. The SC-U lets you tap directly into this high-capacity bus, making it straightforward to move large channel counts between stage, front of house and recording devices without bulky analogue multicore looms.

The SC-U features a USB connection for multi-channel audio to and from a host computer, plus Ultranet I/O for direct connection to compatible Behringer systems such as P16 personal monitor mixers. This makes it easy to capture live multitracks, run virtual soundchecks or play back backing tracks, while simultaneously providing performers with flexible, low-latency monitor mixes over Ultranet.
