WA-87jr features three polar patterns (cardioid, omni, and figure-8) give you a variety of options to choose how you want to capture stereo sounds and reject noise.

WA-87jr features a selectable -10dB pad that allows the WA-87jr to handle SPLs up to 135dB, making capturing loud sources easy.

WA-87jr features a switchable 70 Hz high pass filter making it easy to remove unruly bass noise from sources before you even hit record.

The custom K87-style capsule in the WA-87jr & WA-87jr SE is a true reproduction of the large, dual-diaphragm 87-style capsule and the same capsule in the flagship WA-87 R2 microphone. This capsule captures authentic analog detail across the 20Hz-20kHz frequency spectrum. With the detail of the capsule combined with the clean, pure signal transfer from the contemporary circuit design, the WA-87jr will be right at home on many sources.

A selectable -10dB pad allows the WA-87jr to handle SPLs up to 135dB, making capturing loud sources easy.

70 Hz High Pass Filter
Engaging the 70 Hz high pass filter helps remove unwanted bass rumble and noise at the source instead of playing with potentially tone-destructive EQ during the mixing process.

Premium, Discrete Analog Circutry
The WA-87jr & WA-87jr SE use premium Toshiba transistors and WIMA film capacitors for professional, discrete analog signal integrity.

The WA-87jr is built with Panasonic electrolytic capacitors that provide enhanced signal conversion, allowing the mic to get extra vintage vibe out of the K87-stye capsule for smooth, never-shrill tones.
