Newly Designed Reflectone Pickups
Created in collaboration with Rupert Neve Designs, Yamaha’s new Reflectone pickups deliver clear and articulate tones with solid lows and sparkling highs, while the HSS pickup configuration combined with coil-splitting capabilities results in outstanding versatility.
Aesthetics Inspired by Japanese City Pop Art
A variety of vibrant new finishes were developed jointly by teams in Hamamatsu and Los Angeles, inspired by Japanese city pop art and the sun-soaked vibes of Southern California: Sparkle Blue, Ash Pink, Shell White and Black.
Rosewood Fingerboard with Stainless Steel Frets
Rosewood fingerboards are valued for their warm tone and smooth attack. Stainless-steel frets are used on all Pacifica Standard Plus guitars for their exceptional durability and less resistance when bending strings.
Alder Body with Acoustic Design Technology
Utilizing scientific processes such as 3D modelling and resonance imaging, Yamaha’s Acoustic Design technology implements wood-routing techniques to increase body resonance and improve the transfer of vibration between body and neck.
Exceptional Playability
With its slim C-shape neck, carved neck joint heel, bevelled body, and 13.8"/350mm fingerboard radius, the Pacifica Standard Plus is exceptionally easy and comfortable to play.
Premium Gotoh Hardware
Gotoh locking tuners, combined with the Gotoh 2-point tremolo bridge, ensure smooth operation and exceptional pitch stability.
